Stake Land, Jim Mickle's follow up to his 2006 cult hit MULBERRY STREET, will make it's world premiere at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival in Midnight Madness. The film starts color grading at OFFHOLLYWOOD tomorrow - and we are incredibly excited about this film!

Spike TV started airing a series of spots for UFC we produced (live action) working with Fresh Paint, who designed, directed, edited and provided VFX.

Spots were shot back in JUNE on RED One MX with Brian Przypek as the DP - but Jarred, Jim Jannard and Ted from RED decided to drop by the shoot with THREE EPIC PROTOTYPES and shoot some additional footage testing a new firmware build.

Obviously, by design, these spots are heavily post-processed - but it's a factual case study that these cameras have been testing shooting for months. Just firing one up and sliding in a 64G CF card gave me goosebumps.

We are beyond excited about the powerful features and flexibility of EPIC - and are looking forward to providing this camera to the professional community.

Offhollywood's cameras start rolling today on MARGIN CALL, starring Demi Moore, Kevin Spacey, Stanley Tucci, Siman Baker, Zachary Quinto and Paul Bettany. (can I just say ... what a GREAT cast!!)

The film tracks eight people at a prominent investment bank in a tumultuous 24-hour period during the early stages of the financial crisis. Written and directed by newcomer J.C. Chandor.

Cinematographer Frank G. DeMarco in lensing the pic in 4K on RED ONE MX cameras. DeMarco was the DP on John Cameron Mitchell's RABBIT HOLE (see previous posts) which was shot on our cameras with RED's original sensor (the Mysterium) prior to our cameras being upgraded to the new MX (Mysterium-X) sensor.

John Cameron Mitchell's RABBIT HOLE just completed DI at OFFHOLLYWOOD with our colorist Robbie Renfrow. The film, starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart, was lensed by cinematographer Frank G. DeMarco in 4K.

River Road Entertainment's political thriller "Fair Game" -- about outed CIA undercover agent Valerie Plame -- is the sole U.S. film in the main competition at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival. The film, directed by Doug Liman (“The Bourne Identity”), stars Sean Penn and Naomi Watts. 

RED cameras, support and post production services were provided by OFFHOLLYWOOD.

Summit Entertainment picked up North American distribution rights to the political thriller as well as those in Italy, Benelux, Scandinavia, Japan and CIS.
